PICTURE: Big win for Tipperary as Thurles student claims prestigious prize at UCD

The UCD School of Agriculture and Food Science Awards took place recently and there was another big win for the Premier County!

Pictured above are Conor Flynn from Thurles, with his mother Liz, girlfriend Gillian Hayes and father, Jack.

Conor won the Ian Gordon Award - which is presented annually to the student who obtains the highest grade in Animal Reproduction in the Stage Three University Examination in Agricultural Science.

The award consists of a medal.
