The Annual Family Carers Mass took on Tuesday at the Family Carers Office on Tuckey Street in Cork and was attended by members of the Family Carers group in Clonmel.
South Tipperary Carers Support Manager, Richie Molloy, said that South Tipperary Family Carers have attended this mass for the past 21 years.

He expressed his thanks to Cork Carers Support Manager, Peter Cox, for maintaining the tradition over the years. To mark the occasion, a special cake was delivered to the office.
Mr Molloy noted that the annual mass provides a wonderful opportunity for carers to meet and connect with carers from another county, and that many lasting friendships have been formed between Cork and Tipperary carers as a result.

He added that the occasion was particularly moving for him personally, as the mass was celebrated on the anniversary of his late mother, who had been a regular attendee at the event.
Following the mass, refreshments and music were enjoyed at the Cork centre
