Minister pledges to do all he can to help Tipperary company establish visitor centre

Peter Burke, the Minister for Enterprise, Tourism and Employment

Enterprise, Tourism and Employment Minister Peter Burke has pledged to support plans to create a Bulmers visitor centre at Down's Lane, in Clonmel's town centre.

The Minister toured the site during his recent visit to the town. 

“(Deputy) Michael Murphy has briefed me on the project and I will talk to the management there, and hopefully we’ll do all we can to help them," the Minister told TipperaryLive.

“What we are going to do to help C&C, which would be very important, is that we have a very strong capital programme next year, on how we expand added value to core businesses like C&C.

“And we’ll do all we can to try and support them to try and build up a base whereby they can attract visitors into the region”.
