The Premier County’s rising hurling talent Sam O’Farrell was named Munster U20 Hurler of the Year, recognition of a standout season in which he played a central role in Tipperary’s underage success. O’Farrell’s performances marked him out as one of the most exciting young hurlers in the province.

Further success for Tipperary came in camogie, where Grace O’Brien collected the Munster Camogie Player of the Year award.

O’Brien’s consistency and leadership over the course of the season were key factors in her provincial recognition, underlining the improvement in camogie for Tipperary in recent years.

The awards night celebrated excellence across all five Munster counties, with honours spread widely. Waterford’s Paul Flynn and Limerick’s John Galvin were inducted into the Munster GAA Halls of Fame for hurling and football, respectively, while Cork’s Brian Hayes and Kerry’s Joe O’Connor claimed the senior player of the year awards.
