A national school in Tipperary is celebrating retaining their county title after a recent win last month.
Monard National School successfully retained their county U11 title in the Roinn EI higher division, delivering a thrilling performance in Drombane on Friday, November 28.
Showcasing exceptional skill and determination, they overcame a strong Clonmore N.S. side with a final score of 2–4 to 0–4.

The team was coached by their teachers; Ms. O'Donoghue, Ms. O'Dwyer, Ms. Mullins, and Mr. Ryan, and led to victory by captain Philip O'Doherty, who is pictured holding the winning plaque.
