The play centres around the inept attempts of a committee, formed by retired teacher Trish Riordan, as they set about getting the old, dilapidated parish hall restored to its former glory.
TWO ACTS
Set over two acts, this entire play takes place in the parish hall in the fictional village of Ballygreen. All action takes place on the stage in the hall. The play is set in the present day with a cast of ten - five men and five women.
Audiences will have a terrific time watching this group of local characters – who are in all our communities – try to negotiate their way through the committee meetings and each other’s individual personality traits, under the direction of the talented Jim Keane. For those who missed out on the run in December, now is your chance to see this hilarious comedy on the Brú Ború stage – Multeen Player cannot wait to return to the stage in February!
