A nationwide search for the missing teenagers took place over Christmas
A relative of one of the Tipperary Town teenagers that went missing on Thursday, December 18 - and were only found "safe and well" on December 26 after a nationwide search from Tipperary to Dublin and to Meath - has spoken out.

In a post on social media, the relative said: "That day came when the girls were found safe and well! I would like to sincerely thank everyone who supported us, who helped in the search.
"Thank you to our loved ones, friends, and strangers with kind hearts who were with us physically and mentally during these long and difficult eight days.
"I would like to wish everyone a Merry Christmas, even though we are at the end of it. Love your loved ones and appreciate how important it is to be by each other's side every day.

"And the enormous strength that people with big hearts bring. Thank you again for all your help."
