The former Dunnes Stores building in O'Connell Street, Clonmel is an example of the many vacant properties around Tipperary.
A TD in Tipperary has shared an updated tool for members of the public to report vacant or derelict properties to their local council.
Independent TD for Tipperary South Seamus Healy shared the news of the updated tool today, which is designed to support local authorities in tackling vacancy and bringing homes back into use.

The updated platform allows anyone to submit information about vacant or derelict properties in their area.
The tool is easy to use and enables local authorities to identify properties that may be suitable for refurbishment, regeneration, or housing delivery.
The website also provides useful information for vacant home property owners about the steps which are needed to bring their vacant property back into use.
