Tipperary homeowners saw their property values climb by €10,000 in 2025, as revealed in the latest MyHome quarterly report.
The median asking price for a home in Tipperary is now €230,000, based on data from the past three months.
This shows a €5,000 decrease for the quarter, but prices are still €10,000 higher than a year ago.
The asking price for a three-bedroom semi-detached home in Tipperary increased by €20,000 over the past year to €215,000, remaining unchanged this quarter.
Joanne Geary, Managing Director at MyHome, says prices are still rising even though things usually slow down at the end of the year. She thinks prices will keep rising in 2026, but not as quickly.
“It is encouraging to see continued momentum in residential construction, which is essential in improving choice for buyers over the medium term,” Geary said.
“Increased delivery in urban areas is critical to easing the pressures that persist in the market.
“While there are early signs of stabilisation, conditions remain tight, and buyers continue to compete for a limited pool of properties. Ensuring that supply grows steadily will be key to supporting a more balanced market in the coming years.”
