A sewing and dressmaking course will be starting this January in Tipperary, for anyone hoping to pick a new skill this year.
The Sewing and Dressing with sustainable practices course is a QQI Level 5 and will be taught part-time, beginning this month.
Learn essential sewing and dressmaking skills while embracing sustainable fashion practices. Students will learn essential sewing techniques alongside mindful approaches to fabric selection, garment construction, and waste reduction.

By the end of the course, learners will be able to design and construct well-fitted garments while applying sustainable practices. This course is ideal for beginners and aspiring designers who wish to develop practical sewing skills.

The course will run for 16 weeks in Thurles and is a part-time course.
