County Tipperary’s own The Charcoal Greys are set to take the stage at The Source Arts Centre in Thurles this February, promising an evening that spans the spectrum from raw, high-octane pop punk to brooding, atmospheric rock ballads.

The five-piece band, which formed in 2024, has quickly carved a niche for itself with a sound rooted in rock yet deliberately unconstrained by genre boundaries.

Their performances of original material are marked by an infectious energy and a passion that has become their signature.

Over the past year, The Charcoal Greys have performed at numerous local music festivals and band showcases and have held regular support slots for established acts.

Highlights include supporting The Academic at Cyprus Avenue and Bowden Band at Whelans. On September 5th, the band released their second single, Muddy Shoes, which followed its first play for a global audience on BBC Introducing.

The track is part of a strong line of singles leading up to the release of the band’s first EP, scheduled for 2026.

For this show, The Charcoal Greys will be joined by Thurles-based band Paradise Conspiracy, adding local flair to an already anticipated night of music.

The concert is standing-room, though some balcony seating is available. Doors open at 8 p.m. on Saturday, February 7, 2026. Tickets are priced at €14, including fees.
