Exciting injection of young talent named in Tipperary team for National League opener

Niall Fitzgerald has named his first side of this year's National Football League for Sunday's Division 4 clash with London in Ruislip.

Youth have been given the chance to impress in this league opener, with league debuts being handed out to U20 players from 2025 in Charlie King, Joe Higgins, Daithi Hogan, and Eoin O'Connell, along with Eoin Craddock, who impressed in preseason.

There's also plenty of experience to come in from the bench, with Mark Russell and Steven O'Brien named among the substitutes, and Tipperary will be hoping to get the Niall Fitzgerald era off to a winning start by exacting revenge on the Exiles after their loss to the same opposition in the 2025 campaign.
