Clonmel Station Officer Stephen McEvoy is hanging up the helmet and boots with the Tipperary Fire and Rescue Service after 31 years of dedicated service to Clonmel and the surrounding area.
Stephen (Stevie) was joined by family, friends and colleagues last week to mark the occasion, with presentations made by SACFO (Senior Assistant Chief Fire Officer) Garret McLoughlin and Sub Officer Paddy Pyke.
A series of farewell tributes and testimonies were paid to Stevie, a sign of both his professional respect and personal regard held by all.
Stevie, his wife Tess and family are wished the very best for the years ahead by all in the Tipperary Fire and Rescue Service.
