Clonmel: 184
Cashel/Tipperary: 128
Thurles: 118
Roscrea/Templemore: 103
Nenagh: 100
Cahir: 69
Carrick on Suir: 64

This national total of 36,284 new homes marks a record high since the CSO first began tracking completions in 2011.
In the past five years, 148,995 new homes have been built. This shows how hard it will be to reach the Government's goal of 300,000 new homes in the next five years. In 2025, 12,047 apartments were completed, 38.7% more than in 2024. Most new homes were built in Dublin and the Kildare, Meath, Louth, and Wicklow area, which together made up 58% of all new homes last year.
