Tipperary Town Scouts marked the beginning of their hiking programme for the year with an outing to Lough Muskry on February 1st.
The location, a regular destination for outdoor groups in the area, provided clear conditions and striking scenery for the first hike of 2026.
Participants took advantage of the winter landscape, with the lake and surrounding countryside offering views that remain a draw throughout the seasons.
The hike forms part of the group’s annual schedule of outdoor activities, which typically resumes in early spring following the winter break.
