Popular Tipperary village market to close after years at the heart of community life

After many successful years serving as a vibrant hub of local food, craft and community spirit, Holycross Village Market has announced it will no longer continue operations.

The market, which became a much-loved fixture in the village calendar, drew together traders, customers, musicians and volunteers each week, creating a welcoming space centred on local produce, handmade goods and live entertainment. Its organisers confirmed the closure this week, describing the decision as a sad but reflective moment.

In a statement, the market team expressed heartfelt thanks to everyone who contributed to its success over the years.
