The youngster had initially put in a transfer request early in 2025 to move from Solohead to neighbouring club Cappawhite, where he played all his underage hurling in the Cappawhite Gaels amalgamation.

However, Solohead objected to the transfer, leaving the talented hurler in limbo as a solution was sought between all parties.

O'Hora played U19 and U21 club hurling with Cappawhite Gaels due to the fact that Solohead and Cappawhite have paired up at underage in recent years, but has had very little hurling to continue his progress after featuring heavily on James Woodlock's successful 2024 team.

However, he has now had his transfer verified on the recently published inter-club list and will line out with Cappawhite in 2026.
