The death has occurred of Declan O’Dowd of 88 Springfort Meadows, Nenagh and Park View Drive, Thurles.
Declan passed away suddenly on February 11, 2026.

He is predeceased by his father Tommy and nephew Fionn.
Declan will be sadly missed by his loving wife Roisin, his adored children Áine, Orlaith and Tommy, his mother Bernie, his sisters Sandra and Amy, brothers Rory, Barry, Raymond and Alan, parents-in-law Jimmy and Teresa Martin, brother's-in-law Eamon, Francis and Tommy, sisters-in-law Portia, Rachel, Sinead, Noelle and Antoinette, his nieces and nephews and the extended Martin family and his many relations and friends
May Declan rest in peace.
He will lay in repose at Ryans funeral home Nenagh (E45 KN93) this Sunday from 4 o'clock to 6 o'clock.
His remains will arrive at St Marys of the Rosary Church, Nenagh on Monday for Requiem mass at 12pm.
Burial will take place afterwards in Lisboney New Cemetery.

Tributes have been paid to Declan online, with one person saying: "Sincere condolences to Roisin, Áine, Orlaith, Tommy, the O'Dowd & Martin families on the devastating loss of Declan. I'll always remember that cheeky smile of yours & the banter we had over the years. Declan may you now RIP."
Another person said: "Sincere condolences to all. Declan was an absolute gentleman. He did work for us and I couldn’t praise his work enough. RIP Declan."
