Tipperary ladies footballers resume league campaign against Monaghan

The match will be played in Clonmel Sportsfield at 2pm on Saturday

Tipperary's ladies footballers will be eager to get back to winning ways when they host Monaghan in Division 2 of the Lidl  National League this Saturday.

The match will be played at Clonmel Sportsfield, with a 2pm throw-in, and will be shown on https://page.inplayer.com/streamsportireland/.

After a win over Wexford in their opening game, Tipp have been beaten on their last two outings, against Cavan and Mayo.

Despite their two-point defeat (0-9 to 0-7) in Swinford a fortnight ago, manager David Power was pleased with what he described as "the massive, massive improvement" in the team's performance.

They will now be looking to build on that against Monaghan on Saturday.
