Busy Bees Clonmel proudly celebrated the official opening of Busy Bees Baunreagh Pre-School at a special launch event attended by families, community representatives, and local stakeholders.

Busy Bees Baunreagh is the 13th school within the Busy Bees Clonmel portfolio, reflecting the organisation’s continued expansion and long-term commitment to delivering high-quality childcare and early education services across the area.
Busy Bees Clonmel currently employs 140 staff, with a further 20 new jobs set to be created over the next 12 months as demand for places continues to grow.
The modern facility has capacity for 52 children and provides a full-day pre-school service from 7:30am to 6:15pm, Monday to Friday, designed to support working families while delivering a structured and enriching early learning experience.
The new school features three bright and spacious classrooms, a dedicated multi-sensory room, a Forest school garden area, and a soft play zone, all carefully designed to encourage creativity, confidence, exploration, and social development in a safe and stimulating setting.
Busy Bees Clonmel operates under the ethos “A Safe Start for Bright Futures,” combining modern purpose-built facilities with qualified, caring early-years educators and small group attention to ensure every child receives individual support.
Flexible opening hours are designed to assist working families, while the structured daily programme balances learning, play, rest, and enrichment within a warm, nurturing, and activity-rich environment.
The centre participates in the Early Childhood Care and Education (ECCE) Scheme, providing accessible early learning opportunities for children aged two years and eight months up to six years old.
Vanessa Moriarty, Managing Director of Busy Bees Clonmel, said at the launch: “Opening our 13th school is a proud moment for Busy Bees Clonmel and for the community we serve. This new school represents a significant investment not only in children’s futures, but also in local employment. We are delighted to be creating additional jobs while providing a safe, inspiring environment where children can grow, learn, and thrive every day.”
