Clonmel Rugby Club’s Minis players participated in their home blitz on the fantastic CBS High School 4G rugby pitch.
Clonmel fielded multiple teams at Under 7s, Under 8s, Under 9s, Under 10s, Under 11s and Under 12s, playing matches against their guests from Waterpark RFC, Clanwilliam RFC and Galbally RFC.
The Clonmel boys and girls were excellent, demonstrating great attacking and defensive play. All of their hard work at training is paying off.
They also had a very special guest as the sun put in a welcome appearance, basking the superb High School pitch in welcome sunshine. The resulting smiles were infectious.

Thanks are extended once again to all the parents for their support and to all the club coaches for their continued work with the players.
A special word of thanks to CBS High School for the use of their world class facility; we are so fortunate to have a venue like this in the heart of Clonmel.
Pan Munster U13 Shield
By Johnny Moloney
Clonmel Rugby Club’s Under 13s hosted Bruff RFC at Ard Gaoithe in the Pan Munster Shield, where the visitors proved the stronger side on the day.
Bruff started well and kept steady pressure on Clonmel throughout both competitive halves, using their physicality to good effect and securing the win.

Although the result went Bruff’s way, Clonmel showed plenty of effort, especially in the non-competitive half. The players worked hard, stayed committed and showed good determination, even with nothing at stake on the scoreboard.
Their attitude and willingness to play for the jersey were clear.
