This derby in the Premier League of the Tipperary Southern and District soccer League (TSDL) unfolded as a tense and scrappy contest, lacking fluency but rich in emotional stakes.

Town’s sharper start was rewarded when Ian Healy capitalised on defensive hesitation to open the scoring.

Celtic struggled creatively, yet remained within reach thanks to defensive resilience and key saves from goalie Rhys Lonergan.

As Town threatened to close out victory, Celtic produced a late moment of quality when Kyle Cuddy engineered space and fired home, transforming frustration into relief.
