Music and general knowledge will combine in Cahir later today, Saturday, February 28, as Cahir Comhaltas stages its annual quiz night fundraiser.

The event gets under way at 8pm in The Shamrock Lounge, with organisers promising an evening of friendly competition and entertainment.
Tables of four are available for €20, with proceeds going towards supporting the branch’s activities throughout the year. Funds raised will assist the local Comhaltas community in sustaining classes, sessions and events in the months ahead.
Those planning to attend are encouraged to gather a team and take part in what is expected to be a lively and sociable occasion in the town.
