Tipperary's big Allianz Hurling League Division 1A fixture with Waterford in Thurles is set to be shown live on television this coming Sunday afternoon.

The game between the Munster rivals will throw-in at Azzurri Walsh Park at 3.15pm and will be live on TG4.

The Premier will be hoping to come away from the south east with the two points on Sunday and alleviate any relegation worries in the division.

Meanwhile, in Division 4 of the Allianz Football League, Tipperary recorded a fine home win in round 5 against Leitrim. The win puts Niall Fitzgerald's side firmly in the race for promotion to Division 3 with two games remaining against Wicklow and Waterford.

They travel first to Aughrim on Sunday week to face fellow promotion hunters Wicklow, and a win there would put them in poll position to qualify.
