Purcell, who presents breakfast radio on RTÉ 2FM, had previously said she hoped to keep her wedding small and close to home in Ireland.
The presenter and former Miss Universe Ireland contestant announced the news on Instagram with a short message alongside a series of photographs from the day: “We’re married.”

Much of the attention online has focused on Purcell’s understated bridal style. She wore a vintage lace dress with a halter neckline, paired with a matching veil and simple shoes.
Explaining the origin of the dress to followers, Purcell said she took a chance ordering the dress online from a vintage bridal seller. The veil was created to match the lace detailing of the dress.
“I wanted something to match the dress, and @albridalcouture in Dundrum made this—it was perfect. Audra also did some alterations on the dress, like putting in a lining because it was see-through. A lot of people recommended her when I put up a box last year; a great Irish business to support”
Roz also revealed that she decided to do her own make-up for the wedding day, explaining the decision in a video shared with followers.
“The final make up thanks for all the advice and suggestions on my trial videos, I committed to the no tan & doing my own make up! Hair by @daniellegarner_ in Widlflower.”

She then outlined the products she used to create the look. Purcell said her base included “Charlotte tilbury flawless filter shade 2” along with “Sculpted by Aimee Cream Cushion 1.5N” and “airbrush flawless by Charlotte Tilbury in 1 for highlighted areas.”
She added that she kept foundation with SPF as she would not be photographed with flash. “I did stick with a foundation with SPF as I wasn’t getting any flash pics but thanks for this warning!”
For under eye coverage she used “Tarte light- medium” corrector, while “Huda Beauty in pound cake” was used as a setting powder. Her blush came from the “Sculpted by Aimee bare basics palette” and contour from “Charlotte tilbury film star brown & Glow.”
Purcell said the same palette was used for her eyes along with eyeliners “Charlotte Tilbury rock’n’kohl in smoulder” and “Sculpted by Aimee easy Glide in Ultra-Black.” She finished the look with “Lash Life by sculpted in Rich Brown” mascara and brows using “Brow Aid shade 02 Brown.”
For her lips she chose “Charlotte tilbury in iconic nude & MUF artist pencil in endless cacao & Clinique black honey balm,” adding that she would welcome suggestions for a cruelty free alternative.
Purcell included a note clarifying a previous commercial relationship with one of the brands mentioned, writing: “Sculpted by Aimee (#previouscommercialrelationship) I don’t currently work with them but I worked with them in the last year! FYI that is the tag people should use for this.”
Tipperary musician and singer Una Healy was one of the many notable Irish celebrities among the well-wishers on Purcell's post, "congratulations to you both."
