Bansha Celtic 1 Peake Villa 2
Peake Villa progressed to the next round of the FAI Junior Cup after edging past Bansha Celtic in a competitive encounter.
Bansha had the first major opportunity when Robbie Byron forced an excellent save from the Peake goalkeeper.
The visitors eventually broke the deadlock on 25 minutes when Pippy Carroll controlled the ball in the box, turned sharply and finished well.
Bansha responded just before half-time when Danny Ryan finished from close range to level the score at 1–1 going into the break.
