H&MV Engineering Limited has applied to Tipperary County Council for permission for retention and additional development at its facility at Cashel Enterprise Park, located at Spafield on the Cahir Road in Cashel.

The application was received by the council on March 6 and a decision is due by April 30. Members of the public have until April 9 to make submissions or observations on the proposal.

The plans seek retention permission for a number of alterations already carried out at the site. These include changes to the annex on the southern elevation of the existing warehouse building and the installation of signage on the western and northern elevations.

The company is also seeking retention for the construction of two loading bays on the northern side of the warehouse, as well as a 99 square metre infill extension to the existing laboratory building. Two storage yards and associated ancillary works also form part of the retention application.

In addition, the firm is seeking permission for further changes to the site. These include the subdivision and change of use of 1,203 square metres of existing warehouse floor space to office accommodation.

The proposal also provides for two emergency escape stairs, additional car parking spaces and new electric vehicle charging points. Motorcycle parking, a bicycle shelter and landscaping works are included in the plans.

Modifications to the elevations of the existing warehouse building and other associated site development and ancillary works are also proposed.
