Uisce Éireann is continuing critical water main upgrade works in the Ardloman area

LATEST: Uisce Éireann issues major update regarding major works in Tipperary

Uisce Éireann are making steady progress to upgrade the water network in the Ardloman area, to reduce leakage and provide a more reliable water supply to local homes and businesses. So far over 7.6km of water main has now been replaced, with a further 300m of mains yet to be installed.

To facilitate connections of the newly installed water mains a planned interruption will take place which may impact customers in Ardloman and the surrounding areas.

Customers in Mount Bruis, Glenbane, Emly, Kilross, Ballynahow Cross, Lattin, Cullen, Monard, Shronell, Breansha, Kyleenagallive Lattin, Roseboro, Deerpark, Lattin, Cullen, Monard, Limerick Junction and the surrounding areas will experience a disruption to their supply on Thursday, 12 March from 8am to 4pm.

Uisce Éireann’s Dave Murphy said, “We understand the inconvenience caused by an interruption to supply. Every effort will be made to limit the impact of these essential works, and we would like to thank the community in advance for their patience and co-operation.

“Following the completion of the works, it can take two to three hours for normal water supply to return to customers as water refills the network, particularly for those properties on higher ground or at the end of the network.”
