Discover the story behind remarkable site in Tipperary

The lecture takes place at the Main Guard in Clonmel this Monday night, March 23

'Slievenamon and Knockroe - A megalithic puzzle' is the title of the next lecture of the Clonmel Historical and Acrchaeological Society.

The lecture will be held at the Main Guard, Clonmel at 8.15pm this Monday, March 23. Doors will open at 7.30.

This will be a fascinating lecture by Professor Muiris O'Sullivan, Emeritus Professor of Archaeology at the UCD School of Archaeology.
Professor O'Sullivan was the lead archaeologist behind the renowned excavations at Knockroe.
Discover the story behind this remarkable site and learn how it connects with other key locations in county Tipperary, including Slievenamon and the River Suir.
This is a unique opportunity to gain insight into Ireland’s rich archaeological heritage from one of the field’s leading experts.
Admission is €5 for members and €7 for non-members.
