Carrick Swan GAA Club
Sinead Dunne won the Swan GAA Club's Lotto jackpot of €12,000 last Thursday.
She was presented with the prize by the club's treasurer Sean McDonnell. The club congratulates Sinead and hopes she enjoys her winnings.
Carrick Swan GAA Club were defeated by Cashel in a County Hurling League Division 5 match on Sunday.
Final score: Swan 1-16, Cashel 0-25. Hard luck to the team and mentors. The next game is against Lattin Cullen on Saturday, March 28 at 3:30pm in Páirc na nEalaí.
The Swan play Roscrea in Division 1 of the County Hurling League at 12 noon on Sunday, March 29 in Páirc na nEalaí.
The Junior B camogie girls will play Ballingarry in the County League on The Green in Carrick on Sunday, March 29 at 11am.
Meanwhile, the Under 14 footballers played their latest championship game on Sunday, recording a great win over Clerihan on The Green. Their next game is away to Ballingarry next Sunday.
The Under 12s are currently preparing for their upcoming hurling and football championships, that begin in the coming weeks.
