The film has packed out venues all over Tipperary and beyond

The Fionn McCumhaill players' short film Bridget, has made it to the final of The Indie Short Film Festival in Los Angeles.

The Tipperary film was nominated in three categories.

It received nominations for best ensemble cast  -John Peter Morris, Vicky Maher, Eugene O'Meara, and Cathal Fahey, for best young actor - Cathal Fahey and for best first-time director  -Anne Williamson.

This little film made on a shoestring budget but with a passionate script was written by Brian Clancy and Anne Williamson and was put together with the hope of vindicating Bridget and banishing the pishogues and bad feeling this sad story left in the village for 130 years.
