RIP Jimmy Slattery

The death has occurred of James (Jimmy) Slattery, Ballyanny, Nenagh, Co Tipperary, late of Agritech and life time president of Kiladangan GAA Club, on April 1, 2026.

In a statement, Kiladangan GAA & Camogie Club extended its “deepest sympathies to the family of our Life President, Jimmy Slattery.”

The club described him as “a proud Kiladangan man who wore the club colours with distinction during the 1950's.”

They added that his dedication continued beyond his playing days, serving as club secretary “on two separate occasions, from 1954 to 1957 and again in 1965,” where “he gave generously of his time and effort, helping to strengthen the club during important years in its history.”
