A major summer music event is set to bring a big name to a small village in Tipperary.

Major Irish act, The Coronas have just been announced as headliners for The West’s Awake Festival 2026 in the village of Clonoulty.

The Dublin-based trio will take to the stage at Dillon Quirke GAA Grounds on June 27. Best known for chart-topping albums and sold-out shows in venues like the Olympia Theatre and 3Arena, the band’s decision to play in a rural village setting here in Tipperary is a major win for rural arts and entertainment.

Adding to the appeal, support on the night will come from Dave Lofts, further strengthening a lineup that organisers hope will draw crowds from throughout Tipperary and beyond.
