Tipperary community to mark the 103rd Liam Lynch Commemoration on Sunday

Ceremonies to be held in Newcastle

Historian and author to address to annual Liam Lynch commemoration in Tipperary this weekend

The 103rd Liam Lynch Commemoration will be celebrated in Newcastle on this Sunday, April 12, 2026 with the ceremonial raising of the tri-colour at Tigh na nDaoine at 11.30am followed by the Memorial Mass in the Church at 12 noon.

Refreshments will be served in the Community Hall followed by the Oration which this year will be delivered by Mr Ned O’Keeffe, Former TD and Minister from Cork East Constituency.
