A special and inspiring talk, "From Bansha to Broadway", will take place at Tipperary Town Library on Friday, April 17 at 11:30am, featuring Tipperary native Martin Quinn.
In this engaging presentation, Martin will recount his unforgettable experience representing County Tipperary on the international stage as Grand Marshal of the St. Patrick’s Day Parade in New York.
In a historic first, he became the first person from outside the United States to lead the world-famous parade down Fifth Avenue, proudly heading the County Tipperary North & South Association of New York.

Adding to this extraordinary honour, Martin was presented with an official proclamation by the Westchester Board of Legislators in New York, designating April 18 as "Martin Quinn Day".
The proclamation was presented by Legislator David Tubiolo in recognition of Martin’s outstanding contribution and his role in celebrating Irish identity abroad.
