Mum-of-one Scarlett Faulkner passed away in Cork University Hospital this Monday
AN GARDA Siochana has confirmed the death of Limerick mum-of-one Scarlett Faulkner, in a statement this Monday evening.
A garda spokesperson said they continue to investigate a serious assault which occurred on the R494 at Birdhill, County Tipperary on Saturday, March 21 shortly before 5.30pm.
“The woman, aged in her 20s, who was injured in the incident, was pronounced deceased earlier today, Monday, April 13 in Cork University Hospital.
“The coroner has been notified. A post-mortem examination will take place in due course,” said a garda spokesperson.

A family liaison officer has been assigned to support the Faulkner family
“As two persons are currently charged before the courts, An Garda Síochána is not making any further comment. Investigations are ongoing,” said a garda spokesperson.
