A new housing development has been proposed for the Longfield Park area of Ardmayle East, Boherlahan, near Cashel, Co Tipperary.
Majestic Property Developers Ltd has signalled its intention to apply for planning permission to Tipperary County Council for a 23-home development that would effectively complete an unfinished housing estate originally granted permission under a previous planning application.
The proposed scheme includes a mix of semi-detached and detached two-storey homes. Plans outline 16 four-bedroom semi-detached houses (Type A), two three-bedroom semi-detached homes (Type B), and five detached four-bedroom houses across several designs (Types C1, C2, E1 and E2).
Two of the detached homes, Types E1 and E2, are planned for sites along the R660 road, each with its own individual vehicular access. The remainder of the development would be accessed through the existing entrance to the Longfield Park estate.
In addition to the housing units, the proposal includes connections to existing services, completion of public open space within the estate, and associated infrastructure works. The development is intended to bring closure to a partially completed project previously approved under Planning Reference 04/1574.
The planning application will be available for public inspection at the offices of the local authority during normal opening hours. Members of the public may make submissions or observations in writing within five weeks of the application being received, subject to the standard €20 fee.
A decision on the application will be made by the council following consideration of any submissions received.
