4. Lorcan Egan (Loughmore Castleiney)
Another cog in the impressive defensive wheel for Loughmore, Egan had a fine outing and was part of a mean performance by the back six the last day out. Playing into the breeze in the first half, it proved that the 1-9 conceded was a significant score as Borris struggled to gain any foothold in attack in the second half, and Egan was involved in a lot of good defensive moments. A really solid performer.
