A man in his 20s has been killed in a road collision in Co Waterford.
He was driving the only vehicle involved in the crash, which occurred on N29 Port Road shortly after 10.30pm on Saturday.
Another man, also in his 20s, who was a passenger in the vehicle suffered injuries that gardai say are not life-threatening.
They were both taken by ambulance to University Hospital Waterford but the driver was later pronounced dead.
A technical examination of the scene has been arranged and local traffic diversions are in place.
Gardai in Waterford are appealing for witnesses to come forward, and also want to hear from anyone who was travelling in the area at the time who may have camera footage.
