Members of the public are being advised that a busy garda station close to the border with Northern Ireland is to remain closed for a number of weeks.
In a post on social media, gardai confirmed that Clones garda station has been closed to members of the public to facilitate urgent critical electrical works.
The town, which has a population of just under 2,000 people, is located less than a kilometres from the Monaghan/Fermanagh border.
In the post, gardai said the will still be working in the area despite the closure.
"The Community Relations Van will be holding clinics out and about the area over this period," read the post which added that the exact times and locations will be announced shortly.
Monaghan garda station, which is located around 20km away, remains open to the public 24/7 and can be contacted at 047 77200.
