A man has been arrested after millions of euro worth of cocaine was seized in the south east.
Approximately 36kg of suspected cocaine, worth more than 2.5 million euro, was found by Revenue in Co Wexford on Friday morning.
The drugs haul was seized after the search of a truck which came off a ferry at Rosslare Europort. The seaport handles passengers and freight from the UK and Europe.
The arrested man, aged in his 50s, was detained under Section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act 1996, at a Garda station in the county.
Gardai said investigations are ongoing.
