WATCH: Michael Healy-Rae releases bizarre video of him 'fighting' Taoiseach Simon Harris
Independent TD for Kerry Michael Healy-Rae has baffled social media users after posting a CGI video of himself fighting Simon Harris in a doctored Matrix clip.
The odd clip was posted by the politician on X on Monday morning with the caption: "Simon Harris trying to dodge democracy like I don't know what!
"Calling a snap election when it suits him and Fine Gael isn’t exactly ‘fair play’ to the people of Ireland! Whether it's called for next month or next year, I'll be ready."

Healy-Rae's post on Monday sparked a huge reaction with some followers baffled by the intent of the video.
"Dodging democracy by calling an election. Right," one wrote.
"So based on that doctored clip from the Matrix, is Simon Harris is Neo? Does this mean he is the "one"? Is he the hero of this General Election story? Are you his mentor Morpheus? I'm so confused," another added.
