Lucky escape as car mounts path and crashes through front of Kerry takeaway
Shocking images of a crash in which an SUV crashed through the front entrance of a takeaway in Kerry are going viral on social media.
Miraculously, no injuries were reported in the incident which happened in the middle of the day on Sunday in Castleisland, Co Kerry.
In a statement, gardaí confirmed they attended the scene.
They said: "Gardaí and emergency services attended a single-vehicle road traffic collision that occurred at approximately 12:15pm on the 27th of October 2024 on the Main Street Castleisland, Co. Kerry.

"A car collided with a retail premises in the course of this incident.
"No injuries were reported," they confirmed.
