Abbie Glynn, from Bray in County Wicklow has been located 'safe and well'
Searches for a teenage girl who had been missing for more than a week have been stood down, gardai have confirmed.
A public appeal for assistance was issued last week after 18-year-old Abbie Glynn, from Bray in County Wicklow was reported missing on November 27.
Searches have been ongoing since and in an update, issued this Friday morning, gardai confirmed there has been a positive update.
"Abbie Glynn, 18-years-old, who was reported as missing from Bray, County Wicklow since Wednesday, November 27, 2024, has been located safe and well," said a spokesperson.

No further information has been disclosed publicly regarding the circumstances which resulted in Abbie being located.
Gardai have thanked members of the public and the media for their assistance with the appeal.
