170 cannabis plants discovered during planned search in Wexford
A man in his late 30's was arrested following a planned search at a residential property in Wexford on Tuesday January 14.
Gardaí carried out the search in Courtown where 170 cannabis plants "at various stages of growth" were seized.
The estimated value of the cannabis plants was over €130,000, and cultivation equipment was also found at the scene, according to gardaí.
One male was arrested at the scene and detained under Section 2 of the Criminal Justice Act 1996 at a Garda Station in the Eastern Region.

The operation was part of operation Tara, an ongoing Garda initiative targeting drug trafficking networks and related criminal activity, according to An Garda Síochána.
All items were seized by gardaí and will be sent for further analysis to Forensic Science Ireland.
