Gardaí on patrol in Galway on Tuesday made a shocking discovery when they pulled over a driver for having "very dark" tinted windows.
Gardaí spotted the car and subsequently found the windows to be at 16%, failing the test. Transparency levels for tinted windows must be at 65%.
But this wasn't the only failed test for the driver as Gardaí carried out a drug wipe test in which the driver tested positive for cannabis and cocaine.

In a post on X, Gardaí said,
"We spotted this car in Galway City this morning and thought its windows looked too dark - at 16% they certainly failed the test.
"Not the only failed test for this driver though.
"The DrugWipe there shows the presence of both cocaine and cannabis."
