How to watch the Eurovision Live in Ireland
The Eurovision Song Contest 2025 is fast approaching, so here's how you can watch the singing contest live from your home.
The European song contest is taking place in Basel in Switzerland this year, after the country took home the trophy in 2024 with their song 'The Code'.
St. Jakobshalle in Basel, where the show will be hosted, has been busy in the lead up to the 69th Eurovision Song Contest.
Ireland will preform in the third act in the second semi-final show on Thursday 15 May 2025 at 9pm CEST, with Emmy singing her song 'Laika Party'.

For those in Ireland, you can watch the second semi-final show live at 8pm on RTE One and RTE Player.
BBC iplayer is unavailable for Irish viewers due to restrictions, but for those in the UK, you can watch the show live at 8pm on BBC One and iplayer.
Graham Norton is among the hosts for this years Eurovision, on BBC, as well as Ryan Clarke, Richie Anderson, Sara Cox and Scott Mills.
The Grand Final will be on Saturday 17 May, 2025 and you can watch it live at 8pm on BBC and RTE services as well.
All Live Shows are also available to watch on the official Eurovision Song Contest YouTube channel (if the stream is available in your region).
Presenters Hazel and Sandra will be joined at the Grand Final by a third host, Michelle Hunziker, who's a well-known Swiss personality.
