RIP: Search for man missing over two months stood down amid tragic update

The search for a man missing for over two months has been stood down after gardai issued a tragic update.

Following the discovery of a man's body, the missing person search for Gerard Fitzgerald has been stood down. 
The 39-year-old vanished from Bray, Co Wicklow on Friday, June 20. 

Gardaí confirmed that Gerard was spotted in the early hours of Monday, June 23, at Bray Dart Station, just days after he disappeared. This was the last sighting of him. 

No further action is required at this time following the discovery.
