RIP Katarzyna Stachowiak
Gardai have issued a tragic update to an urgent missing person case that has now been stood down.
A 37-year-old woman in Kerry has been found dead after being reported missing from Killarney since Saturday October 4 having last been seen at approximately 2:45 pm.

In an update on Thursday October 9, gardaí confirmed that a missing person report for Katarzyna Stachowiak was stood down after the tragic discovery of her body.
They said: "Following the discovery of a body of a woman in Co. Kerry, the appeal for information regarding the whereabouts of 37-year-old Katarzyna Stachowiak, reported missing from Killarney, Co. Kerry on Thursday, 8th October 2025, has now been stood down."
No further action is required.
