'You're expecting a gun': Woman shares details of 'terrifying' incident where she was flashed off the road
A woman has shared the details of an "America-movie" like incident in which she was honked and flashed off the road.
Nora called John Cooke on Liveline to share a dangerous road incident that happened to her.
She expressed concern for how drivers behave on the road after she had been travelling on the M50 on a dark and rainy evening about two weeks ago.

"One thing I noticed was how aggressive people were," Nora expressed.
The M50 has a speed limit of 100km/h and Nora says that even if you are travelling at that pace, people want to go faster.
"You're driving the speed limit, and you're getting hassled; people are passing you out on the hard shoulder," she said.
On the night of the incident, Nora was coming off exit 7 and heading down the ramp towards Palnerstown when a car came up behind her.
The driver was flashing and honking at her, making her believe there was an issue with her back lights, she had a puncture, or her door was open.
"It's very frightening," Nora said.
"It's like one of those American films, you're expecting a gun to come in the window and shoot you. Why is somebody beeping really loudly and consistently and flashing their lights at me?" she continued.
Nora started to panic that she had taken the wrong exit and that she was going to be killed in a head-on collision.

She stopped the car and could hear someone screaming abuse at her, but still does not know why.
She assumes it was because of the speed that she was driving at, but claims that she was not driving that slow, just cautiously as she was coming off the ramp.
"I ended up missing my turn and driving the whole way back into town because I was so shook," Nora explained.
She concluded that she is still "a bit shaken" but will not be put off driving at night.
